Tito Sanchez, an Executive Loan Officer for Rocket Mortgage, has helped more than 1,000 families over his tenure – everything from working with first-time home buyers, to helping investors and clients who already own their homes with refinancing options, to assisting with credit scores for clients and so much more. And it’s his local knowledge, roots and experience that is a huge advantage for his clients.

“Having a local presence in the community is important since you can relate more one on one with clients in the same community,” Sanchez said. “I grew up in the Woodhaven-Brownstown School District so I know how good the schools are and how important that is – especially to first-time home buyers. I know the area and the people. And most people work with people they like and trust and I can relate to that and appreciate that.”

Sanchez has been with Rocket Mortgage for 10 years, the last nine years as a loan officer. In just the last year alone, he helped more than 100 local families get into a home or refinance their home. He specializes in helping first-time home buyers, buyers looking for a second home and/or investment properties, as well as refinancing existing home loans.

“Over the last few years I’ve transitioned to having my business be 100-percent referral based,” Sanchez said. “Most of my business comes from me being licensed in 27 states – working with my current agents along with new agents, insurance agents and past clients who refer family and friends, as well as my own sphere of influence.”

Sanchez is part of a region within the company called “The Local Team.”

A few of those “amazing” options include the First Time Home Buyer program that requires putting only 1 percent down; grant programs to assist with down payments; bank statement loans for clients who are self-employed, and assisting clients to help improve their scores to qualify or get better qualifications on their home loan.
