The business opened in October 2021 after Alberto retired early and Julie was looking to make a change – and a difference in her community. “We were both in the automotive industry before starting the business,” Julie said.

“We wanted to work together and create a family business and build something unique and special in our own backyard. The franchise was really great to deal with and really set us up for success through their training process. In addition, my dad and I are both very hands-on throughout the process. We also really believe in the high quality of the products we sell – and this is reflected in our five star ratings.”

Piccone said it’s “great” working with her dad.

“We both have the same work ethic and focus, and we both care about quality and customer service so we are very much on the same page when it comes to running a business,” Julie said. “It’s an equal partnership, and we each have our different roles within the framework of the business. We both have very high standards in what we do and that serves us well.”
